National Seed Science Distance Education Program
A National Seed Science Distance Education Program and web-based courses are proposed to enhance the delivery of a more comprehensive seed science curriculum to a distance learner in a more stimulating and efficient method. The objectives of this project are to:
1) Provide 6 new one credit modular courses for seed science students and professionals to meet their educational needs and professional society requirements. 2) Develop a coordinated National Seed Science Distance Education Program 3) Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of delivery of seed science courses to students. 4) Assist in educating students about careers in the seed industry. 5) Share knowledge and resources on a national level about delivering seed science education information.
